Wow we could be next......

Well as of yesterday the latest LID date we have seen post on the adoption sites is 1-27-05. This means Roy and I could have a picture and specfics on Katie by the end of August. Our LID is 2-23-05. So unless they have bunches of referrals in the last part of January and the first part of February we will be included in the next batch. CNY (Chinese New Year) was about a week to ten days in the first part of February so there are not many days that the CCAA (China's adoption services) were open. They also were working 1/2 days for a while and now are working full days.... A friend through email/groups missed her referral this month so I hope she and Al hang in there. I know it has got to be hard to miss the big day by a few days. Bethany LID group dates are late so we should be able to all travel together. I am guessing we will travel the last week or few days in October and be home in time for Gage's birthday (11-17).

All for now,

Jennifer l

GwenBlog: "WOOHOO!

No time for witty banter. Email in all its lovely glory from our agency:

Sorry, I missed your call earlier. Tony just called me back. He has not received the referrals yet but they are en route to him. He expects them by the end of the week. He will notify us; usually the day before he fed ex’s them to you. I also asked him about the previous group travel date and they have received August travel dates.'

SHUT UP!!! THIS IS FABULOUS NEWS! So, whatever I WAS calm...I'm so done with calmness at this's totally overrated.

Off to chocolate.

Dog tired

Well I can honestly say I did not sleep a wink last night. Referrals for the rest of December and some or all of January are due in this week. I sure hope so. This batch of referrals will tell us where we are in line for a referral next month or August. I'll post news when I hear it.

We have offical log in dates for Jan and Feb 05

Just spoke with Sue in Grand Rapids and she confirmed "LID" dates for January and February 2005 families.

January dates are - 1-13,1-14,1-25 and 1-31
February dates are - 2-17,2-21 and 2-23

There is a small chance we will be a August family for referral after all.

Another rainy day

When it rains it pours. Today is gloomy and dull. Roy woke me up this morning with news of the bombings in England. How sad. Our hearts go out to all the people effected by this. It seems so many people have to sufer through others. I just don't understand why the world can not get along. I understand there are several religions and ways of life but we should be able to live as we wish in a happy peaceful enviroment. I know it's mearly a dream and most likely will never happen but it's my dream.
